New NUDGE Clinic opens for business

In addition to the thriving Kath Locke Community Practice, the new NUDGE clinic in Rusholme has now opened! The clinic is part of the Health and Training Centre and is fully licensed by Manchester City Council’s Environmental Health department, so that visitors can be assured of an excellent clinical service. With 12 appointments offered initially on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays there is plenty of opportunity to get acupuncture at an affordable price with an opening offer of six treatments for the price of five. All details of how to book are on the flyer below.
Acupuncture can help with a broad range of physical health conditions and emotional wellbeing. Please see more detail of the research available on the efficacy of acupuncture for chronic pain relief, headache, skin conditions, depression and anxiety on the research pages of the NUDGE website.
NUDGE really does offer northern warmth with eastern wisdom and after almost two years of practice in Hulme the statistics show a healthy and successful response to patients’ needs. Go to the About NUDGE page for a glimpse of the experiences of patients.
The Rusholme clinic room is lovely with lots of light, modern fittings and a high ceiling to give an airy and welcoming atmosphere. With NUDGE’s trademark warm orange towels, soft lighting, even temperature, and a hydraulic couch, patients and practitioners will feel comfortable and cared for. The entrance to the clinic is via the side passage next to the hardware store called LeMall. On the first floor of an Edwardian building, visitors will ascend a short flight of stairs to the reception. There patients can pay, book appointments and wait until called for treatment in the private clinic room. There is always pleasant music and a waft of gentle incense in the air to make everyone feel relaxed and ready to receive a first class service.
As in NUDGE’s other clinics the highest standards of clinical practice, cleanliness and inter personal skills can be expected; on-time appointments that do not over-run and individualised attention to get the best holistic treatment. Needles, moxa and other acupuncture items are purchased from Cambridge Acupuncture Supplies and can therefore be guaranteed to be of excellent quality.  Penny Kay and associates working in the Rusholme clinic are fully qualified, members of BAcC, receive regular supervision, and operate to the BAcC Code of Practice. Details can be found on the BAcC website.
